The 2024 NFL Draft ended as one of the most successful in Washington football history.

After having just 10 players selected between 2020 and 2023, the Huskies equaled that number in 2024, with Dominique Hampton rounding out a class that started with Michael Penix Jr.

The national runners-up sent the second-most players to the NFL Combine, with 13 — trailing only national champion Michigan (16).

Penix was the most surprising pick of the first night, with the Falcons standing pat at No. 8 and selecting the quarterback despite signing Kirk Cousins in the offseason. Rome Odunze, meanwhile, joined No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams in Chicago, and offensive lineman Troy Fautanu found his new home in Pittsburgh.

Rounds 2 and 3 were similarly fruitful for Washington. Ja'Lynn Polk went No. 37 overall to the Patriots, tackle Roger Rosengarten went No. 62 to the Ravens, Bralen Trice went 74 to the Falcons, and Jalen McMillan was picked toward the end of the night at No. 92 by the Buccaneers. Finally, on Day 3, two more players were picked in the fifth round with Edefaun Olofoshi going off the board and Hampton being selected right after.
