Peru appoints Ambassadors to Slovak Republic, Slovenia, and Sultanate of Oman

The Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Slovenia, and the Sultanate of Oman.

Supreme Resolution No. 057-2025-RE designated Peru's Ambassador to the Republic of Austria, Maria Eugenia Echeverria Herrera, to serve simultaneously as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Slovak Republic, with residence in Vienna, Austria.

The appointment follows the communication from the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, confirming the granting of the customary approval for Echeverria Herrera to assume this responsibility. 

Ambassador Echeverria Herrera was also designated to serve simultaneously as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Republic of Slovenia, with residence in Vienna, Austria.

As a result, Supreme Resolution No. 058-2025-RE, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano, provides for the extension of the corresponding letters of credence and full powers.

Lastly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs appointed Peru's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ricardo Silva Santisteban Benza, to serve simultaneously as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Sultanate of Oman, with residence in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Silva Santisteban Benza was granted the customary approval from that government, as reported by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
