David Michael Flagg

JAY – David Michael Flagg, 60, of Jay, passed away on April 26, 2024, in Portland. Born on March 29, 1964, at Dow Airforce Base, Bangor, the son of William C. Flagg and Lillian M. Flagg, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.

In his free time, David enjoyed driving tractors, woodworking, yard work, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren. He had a passion for woodworking and cherished moments with his family.

David attended Jay High School and went on to have a fulfilling career at Otis Mill in Jay, Direct TV Blimp, and various construction projects. He was known for his dedication and hard work in all his endeavors.

He is survived by his father William Flagg, his children. Davana Thibeault (Adam), Shauni Cominse (Chris), and Shay Flagg, his grandchildren. AJ, Ty, Finnly, Sophia, and Saige, as well as his brothers. Billy Flagg (Cindy), John Flagg (Jayne), Tony Flagg (Kelly), and sisters. Michelle Corkum (Kent) and Darlene Bates (Paul). Lifelong Family Friend Mike Paine (Lynn).

David was preceded in death by his brother, Larry N. Flagg, his mother, Lillian M. Flagg, and his granddaughter, Saylor Maine Cominse, who passed away on the same day.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on May 11, 2024, at 5 Treetop Lane (formerly 237 Main Street), Jay, from 1 to 3 p.m. It will be a time to honor and remember the life of David, who touched the hearts of many with his kindness and love for his family.

David will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
